PWA MORNING TEA

PWA MORNING TEA – 18 MAY 2016

Thank you to everyone that attended our morning tea today. Being Domestic Violence month, today’s morning tea was dedicated to raising awareness of the social and personal impacts of Domestic Violence on our people.

This morning we had a candle lighting ceremony to pay respect to the people we have lost to Domestic Violence. We had guest speakers Jeanette from the PCYC and Sonia from Legal Aid share about current projects and services they provide. We also had our ladies share about community initiatives and events.

Thank you ladies – it is always a pleasure. Thank you for continuing to share with he PWA and support us in our efforts to create a safe space for our women to come together and be encouraged in our individual journeys. We look forward to sharing with you all again in the near future.
