Celebrating 2016 International Women’s Day Pacific Island style with PWA!
The Pasifika International Women’s Day 2016 celebrates the efforts and successes of all Pacific Islander (PI) women in their roles as parent, carers, workers in Queensland, Australia and other nations.
Our celebration fell on the week of Queensland Women’s Week celebrations. The theme for women throughout Queensland this year being, “Good for her. Great for us. When women achieve, Queensland succeeds”
We extend our sincere appreciation to all that attended our Pasifika International Women’s Day celebration! We appreciate all of your support. It was an honour and a privilege to be to have you all with us celebrating Queensland’s 1st Women’s week!
