Governance, Management & Organisational Development:

PWA is dedicated to the highest level of professionalism in all its efforts. Its focus will be strong governance, modern operational management practices and organisational development.

A Collective Voice & Provider of Choice

PWA is a collective voice connecting women from 22 Pacific Island countries and territories and Australian South Seas Islanders, New Zealand and Australia. PWA recognises the importance of working together and supporting each other to create a united message. We seek to engage inclusively with all relevant stakeholders.

Women’s Health & Well-being

PWA recognises that the cornerstone of a birghter future is the holistic health and well-being of the entire community. PWA will contribute to developing new, and support existing, initiatives that build a healthy lifestyle. A special focus will be on strengthening cultural values and a rich spiritual tradition.

Capacity Building

PWA honours and acknowledges the crucial role of women as a cornerstone for strong and healthy families. We welcome all women to participate and contribute in building our Pacific Islander communities. PWA will support and facilitate the exchange of their knowledge.

Maintaining the diverse Pacific Islander Cultural Heritage for Future Generations

PWA recognises the difficulties of balancing our diverse cultural heritage and living in a western society and it is of utmost importance that PWA works to bridge the gap between generations in order to keep our culture alive.
